Injury Prevention

Injury prevention and performance enhancement to improve your flexibility safely, achieve higher jumps, pointe your feet further, improve your arabesque line, access your full turnout availability, etc. These sessions are based around dancer education and learning exercises to develop strength using correct biomechanics. Stretching and strengthening in order to prevent injuries.

Alex graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Education and specialized in Athletic Therapy. She has also recently certified in Principles of Dance Medicine from NYU. A passionate and driven dance teacher and choreographer for over 10 years. Trying to bring the worlds of dance and Athletic Therapy together through injury prevention and care for dancers.
